Self Esteem Growth Technique Self esteem is number 4 in Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs (1943) . Most basic need for human is physical survival (physiological). Then safety, love / family / belongings, esteem and self actualization. Third in this hierarchy is love and family. Parents love their children but at the same time, they put comparison in front of their children of successful people in their surroundings, without any research and analysis what their children are capable of doing. Four elements (ingredients) make the self esteem; thoughts, feelings, imagination and intuition (the ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning). . Self esteem starts getting hurt / influence in this comparison. If thought is wrong, feelings will be wrong and life decisions on the basis of intuition would be wrong.
